Totally agree. I will quietly set it when I get in lines when I get irritated. 😬, I guess it's my passive aggressive way of timing Some adventures.
My wholeheartedly agree. We all come from different backgrounds and different wallet sizes. Entry level to some is going to be a Casio. Entry level into other people's watch collection may be a beautiful Citizen or Tissot.
I am saving up for a Tudor right now and just know I will hear someone call it a "poor man's Rolex" ugh. I'm shaking my head now.
The cheap one I will just buy. My wife knows if I'm buying a more expensive watch. Usually it predicates a lot of YouTube videos.
I think the sentimental value is worth keeping it as it is also. Most of the time fixing something on an "inexpensive" watch is worth more than the watch itself. I think if it had a Swiss movement or any other automatic watch I might fix it. But it being battery I probably won't.
