I've been working on building the watch book library. So far I have the few you can see in some blurry format, and en route is the latest edition The Cartier Tank by Franco Cologni be released in late Feb. Any other recommendations?

The best watch book that I have is "The Wristwatch Handbook". Reasonably priced, and loads of information.
If you are considering a vintage Speedmaster, the "Moonwatch Only" book is extremely handy. The book is a bit on the expensive side, so probably not worth it unless you have a specific need for the detail it provides.

Have it! It's amazing
If you're into weird and wonderful watches from the 70s, Retro Watches is a great choice:
For Rolex, "The Watch Book - Rolex" might be a consideration. It received rave reviews, but I don't think it was as great as the reviews suggested.

Longitude by Dava Sobel. A summary of how Harrison created the Marine Chronometer. Not really watch related but brilliant if you're into horology.

I'll deff have to check it out!
About Time (authors name escapes me at the moment) is another book that is not watch specific, but about the effects of horology in society from past to future. Highly recommend.
A bit too thin to be called a book. Just as much about a Japanese mountaineering exposition than the watch. But a OK read.
