Absolutely beautiful! How do you like the faceted dial? I went back and forth on mine and settled on the sunburst, but it was a hard call! Btw, congrats on fatherhood!

Absolutely love the blue fluted dial! It's favorite DJ dial. I only ever saw pictures or videos of it and finally saw it in person for first time when the surprise was revealed.

Gorgeous watch! Not a fan of cyclops, but that is my personal taste.

I prefer then on DJs over the sport pieces. But the problem is that rolex has small date windows, unlike tudor. So seeing the deep sea with a small date window just looks awkward. I've come around on the cyclops as part of the quintessential rolex look.

I flew with a 1986 GMT Master II "fat lady". Reading the minute hand at glance between 17 and 23 after was nearly impossible with any accuracy. I removed the cyclops and found the date window just fine on the ground where I might actually use it. Rolex service in New York had a hissy fit and insisted that the entire crystal be replaced before they would return it. My AD interceded and had it returned unserviced. It has not been back to Rolex for service since. There are many competent watchmakers that can service a Rolex well. I love the watch and respect the brand, but have no love for the Company. Enjoy your new watch, it truly is a beauty.
