SOTC April 2024 + New Watch Box

Alright, so I just received this watch box from Ali express, seeing how my old one was literally falling apart, I thought might as well, do a state of the collection for the time being:

From the top right, is my GA2110 which I modded with rainbow indices, I don’t wear this watch often, it is comfortable but I just lean more towards my next watch.

The DW5600, a classic, comfortable, versatile, will never leave my collection.

The Casio Royale is my next favorite, it’s the most comfortable and best value resin Casio in my opinion.

The Casio A171WE is purely there because I wanted a metal Casio that wasn’t the 168, it’s a cool watch, nothing special.

The F91W is a staple, I wrecked one and had to buy it again, but it’s worth having in my collection.

Next in line, is love of my life and grail, my Hamilton khaki field mechanical, I wanted this watch for two years, saved up, and just grabbed it on a sale from Joma and never looked back, It hasn’t left my daily rotation since I got it 7 months ago.

I actually don’t know the reference number for this Casio dress watch, I bought it on a whim with my sister, we just wanted simple matching watches, so we got identical ones, it’s a sentimental piece for me, I don’t wear it anymore but it’s a keeper for that memory.

My dad’s Raymond Weil is older than me, and I appreciate my dad giving it to me, I just wish it was an Omega 😜 sorry dad.

Now the next one was my first dive into microbrands, the Praesidus A-11 combat, 32mm, gorgeous watch, looks way too yellow in the picture but I assure you it’s a soft off white creamy dial, one of my favorite “homages”.

Last is the Sanda tank homage from Ali Express for $11, fantastic watch for what it is, I wanted to know the feeling and look of an actual tank without paying the $10k price tag, other homages don’t really look like the tank, this is the closest I’ve seen, and I dig it.

I actually have two watches on the way, so this box is basically finished, but what would you add to this collection based on what you’ve seen?

I’m open to anything but please nothing bigger than a 40mm 🥰
