I know we all use a tool to remove the straps. In the case of a quick release spring bar, no guesses it’ll be your manicured finger nail. Comment below if it’s not on the list below or tell us if it’s a combination or maybe a special homemade tool for that stubborn Casio strap. What is your fav tool?
I use a Bergeon 6767 spring bar tool as well as 7825 tweezers for Rolex. In the rare occasions when the fine tip is too wide and the tweezers can't be used (some TAG Heuer) a 1mm flat screwdriver does the job.
I’m a watch-holic, a watch-addict and recently a watch-cruncher. I'm drawn to watches that have interesting back stories, unique or unusual design language and limited in numbers.

To be honest if I tried to remove the spring bars with a knife my watch would have three lugs🤣
Bergeon spring bar remover 👍🏻

While I have a few older straps that require a tool, I tend to only buy straps that have quick release bars so no tool needed. Much, much better imho.
I have to try this dental floss method. I’m getting spoiled with quick release straps though.

Absolutely. Quick release is like best thing ever since bacon (not sliced bread)😜
Me too👍

We all are. Heard Casio even started some push button release with thier MTG line.
None of the above -
Top tip
USE A COCKTAIL STICK as long as you have drilled lug holes
Zero chance of scratches
😉👍🏻
Me too. Seiko FAT spring bars don't have collars (why?). So I use a Bergeon #6111. And for everything else, the cheap Chinese tool with the red caps.
For sure. Cheers my friend.
