It's That Time of Year

Blessings to all my fellow Crunchers, regardless of which deity you serve. This question goes out to my watch fam that celebrates gift giving this time of year. I can be a penny pinching bastard most of the year. (Ask my wife. I made her wait several years for new floors until I could pay cash for them). This time of year, I prefer to give rather than receive. I have a big family so it can get expensive and my wife doesn't temper her financial enthusiasm well this time of year. I get heat from my family because they ask me what I want and I say, "nothing, take care of the boys and the rest". This, of course, seems to infuriate her. I really want nothing. Ok. Give me eBay gift cards so I can save up for more expensive watches. I could say "Oh, just buy me a watch" but I don't want any. Little does she know, I've somehow bought SIX since July.

Together we bought something a couple of months ago and said that was our gift to us, so we're just buying cheap gifts to open on the day. I've asked for a cookbook but I've seen half a dozen packages come through the door.
