Tudor Aeronaut GMT

This beauty seems to be a forgotten gem from Tudor's past. It's a true GMT and I love it. I'm new to the community as of yesterday. Hope you all have a great day!

Welcome! Are you gonna pick one up?

·

The one you see in the pic is mine

·

can't see pic but would love to!

·

I just posted it. I'm not used to posting. This is my 1st time.

·

That is a cool and very unique Tudor! 👌🏻🤘🏻🤙🏻

Once again Tudor doesn't get enough credit for doing some unique pieces. They always get the cheaper Rolex, but that's high end, yet outside the norm and looks 👌🏻.

Welcome!

I totally agree with you. Although, I like the Black Bay and Pelagos models, I opted for something a bit different. I'm glad I did.

Didn't show initially for me...makes sense now 👍

When did this come out btws? And was it buried like the North Flag and probably the PO-1 will be?

·

Nice watch!

That’s the side of Tudor I like 👍🏻

This initially came out in 2006, but mine is a 2012 model.

I think the North Flag is already buried and the P0-1 is on it's way to an early grave, unfortunately. I like watches that are different.

I like the North Flag...and the P0-1 alot. Sadly most people tend to be followers, so they'll buy what's popular and more pricey. Then they'll fall under the illusion that it's somehow better than other watches because of its popularity and price tag. Marketing at it's finest.

Welcome, Gustavo, and thanks for sharing, the Aeronaut is a new one on me...

·

Thank you. Go to Peter Kotsa watch reviews and put the name of this watch in. He does a fantastic review of this watch.

I didn’t know this existed! Very cool

Thanks man! It first appeared back in 2006. I have a 2012 model. I believe it was discontinued in 2013.

Thank you, I appreciate that. Actually, this watch was introduced back in 2006. I have a 2012 model. I believe it was discontinued back in 2013. An overlooked gem in my opinion.

Very cool - prefer the older Tudors , more their own character than today's watches.

Looks like if the combat sub and Tudor had a child, very cool!

I never thought about that, but that's a good way to look at it. It definitely makes sense.

@gustavo33171 Beautiful watch mate !! I have been looking for exactly same model for past few weeks now. Unfortunately I cant find any black dials in North American market. Mind if I ask where'd you find it ?
