This is my Swatch irony that I found in my father's old collection when cleaning the old house. I really love it. And I really want it fixed. Does anyone know how I could fix it ๐? I changed the battery too ๐
As previously mentioned, if it just needs a battery change, this line has a quick-change battery door that can be opened with a coin. If something else is broken I believe it is possible to open these things up through the front, but it's very difficult. The cost of repair would be more than buying a new old stock model, but watchmakers are used to getting sentimental pieces.
Take it to a watchmaker, ask them to change the battery, it's possible there is an old battery inside that could have corroded and the contacts may need to be cleaned, but most watchmakers should be able to do that as part of the battery change. I get older Swatches often and they usually start right up with a new battery.
Takecit to a Jeweler. They'll replace the battery. Don't change it yourself unless you know what your doing. It is easy to ruin a quartz movement by damaging the coil.

I actually like the cream dial
Perhaps I'm stating the obvious here but if you've tried installing a new battery already, take it to a watchmaker.
