Seems to be a pretty accurate app, I don't have an actual timegrapher but it gives consistent readings when I measure multiple times. It definitely prefers the room to be silent to give accurate readings. Now it has me thinking about my watches and their accuracy or lack there of 🤦♂️
Hello everyone I have been collecting watches for over 25 years now, I have way too many but I honestly love them all no matter what brand they are. I've recently left social media and now find myself...

Yeah I tried it and I live on a semi busy road with road noise pretty much constant. It gave me weird readings.
Might build a box & line it with acoustic material.
Nice Seiko monster.
I tried an app originally. But ended up biting the bullet and purchasing a timegrapher.

Does the real one get affected by noise?
I got rid of my time grapher. Weirdly, its results weren't consistent with my on-wrist experience. Maybe I'm magnetic or something. 😉
Is that the best app option; "Watch Accuracy Meter"?

It got a pretty highly rating that's why I got it

Sadly, not available for iPhone. 😢

That's shocking
In my experience it's good for the rate (spd) but less so for the beat error and amplitude.
Bought a time grapher on AliExpress. You can get a Weishi1000 around $100 with free shipping. You can even splurge for a Weishi1900 for maybe $30 more for the better screen.
I don’t think it’s that hard to get in the gate for newbies, just make sure to set the correct lift angle for your given movement.
I see the pancakes

It can be. The microphone sits directly against the watch, I’ve had accurate measurements even with music playing in the background.
But for best results it should be as quiet as possible.
I've found it to be very accurate.
But if it measures your watch running plus 44 spd I can see why you hate it somtimes!
