It all starts with the mood - do I think I need a flex (No judgement here, being a lady sometimes I still need help), or do I need a dainty, classic? Is it a family day or a tournament day? And even better, is it raining that I would be focused on keeping dry more than anything else?
That's usually the 10k thoughts that go into the #wotd ๐ Then everything else comes together. If I already have a look in mind, does the bag fit for the day? Small or big? For practicality or accessory?
I then decide what jewelery to add. If the watch is already a lot, I go as minimalist as I can, I.e. very simple and small hoop earrings and just my wedding rings.
And shoes, well here, it's always about comfort now. Of course it shouldn't look way out of place. But since having Toegate (a painful, yet funny experience in Milan), I have been very careful to focus on feet comfort rather than fashion. At this age, no pain is a gain ๐
There we have a it, a mini ramble this weekend.
I love watches and love sharing the process and thinking that goes into a purchase, but since my grail, I hope you don't mind I share other avenues where I still show some watch love ๐

Same. Watches reflect moods and how much armor you need that day.
Great to see you sharing the wearing even though weโre not getting to see new watches anymore!

I like the way you said it, armor. It's very accurate. ๐ฏ
Trying to keep on my exit watch promise, it's hard but keeping it together ๐
One should not overlook the sartorial aspect of watch collecting. Looking put-together is underrated in today's society of casual sloppiness and the watch is another piece of the daily dress puzzle.
Back in the day, people used to get dressed up for air travel. No more. Having dinner in the main dining room on a cruise ship used to be a smart affair, with men wearing blazers or a suit and the ladies in cocktail dresses. Now one only sees that on "Formal" nights, and the rest of the time there are some guys in t-shirts and baseball caps. ๐
Perhaps in time society will bounce back and being well-dressed will come back in to vogue, but in the meantime it's nice to see someone put the effort towards looking good. ๐
As Iโm getting older I go with comfort like you said and I settled for watches that are about the same but different colors so I pretty much wear the same style, Sexy Style of course!, and the colors dictate the moodโฆ my mental mood ๐โฆ ๐๐คฃ๐๐๐๐๐ฃ๐ฌโน๐๐ฅฐ๐โน๐๐๐ซ๐ฉ๐ญ๐ค๐ข๐ฑ๐๐ก๐ฅบโฆ
Enjoy your Sunday Lola!! Also mag bakya!! At naku! Pang protection for toegate !!
I donโt think that I am the exception, a lot of guys who love watches are just as familiar with clothing shops, a few Sundays after lunch with my family decided to browse after chatting with sales agents at the Tudor boutique ahead of W&W, debating our best guesses was not allowed entry to the Rolex shop next door without an appointment easily remedied with a fast call from my mobile. Give me a break, I have better things to occupy 30 seconds of my life, haha! I decided to check out a new pair of designer runners since I will not wear out my leather brogues, cap toes oxfords etcetera
Have a great day!

Thank you Eric! It's nice to know the art of dressing or just dressing nicely is still appreciated. ๐
I love dressing comfortably (aka jeans and a printed tee), but I also love dressing up and looking nice. Surprisingly, I get the look when I do. And it boggles my mind.
So thanks for this, because it keeps the motivation that manners and finess isn't a lost art just yet๐

Oh my! Yes bakyas! Thanks for the reminder ๐
Depends on whether I want to sit in the Fun-Vee
I once traded my fashion sense to a leprechaun for a stable Internet connection. Being uncoordinated is just the way I look now and probably why I own some Invicta watches.
