New Tissot to replace a dead Tissot

Having sent an old PR50 to Tissot for repair that they said was unrepairable they returned it with a voucher for a nice discount on a new watch. And this is that new watch: Seastar 1000 36mm in blue. I have a Casio Duro but that looks like a dinner plate on my wrist so this will get much more wrist time than the Casio ever did.

What do I love? The size, the colour, the glass bezel, the date window being at 6, the very high legibility. What do I not like? Nothing so far.

When Tissot sent my watch back as unrepairable, I got zippo. You did well.

Well this a big upgrade over the Casio. I really like this watch. I like having the date at the 6 position. It doesn't stand out as much!

I agree, the date at six maintains the symmetry of the dial.
