Yes, it came with the Cervo Volante leather strap, but I found the color of the strap a bit too light for the deep green dial. So I replaced it with a Hemsut Horween strap I got from Amazon for about $25. I have a couple of these straps and actually really like them.

I know what you mean. I found it to be very soft but also frail looking and somewhat light in color. Because of the frailty I decided to give it a light pass with a neutral color leather nourish product. It really helped the overall look IMO and darkened the patina a bit as well. And the more time passes the better it looks. I am a fan of patinas so for the time being I am keeping this one on. I think I made a post recently with pictures post treatment if you are curious.
