New Islander Abalone Monster
A quick look at the new Islander ISL-141 Abalone Monster. This dial is fascinating to look at in person, and changes drastically in different light. I wasn’t sure if I’d actually like this one with everything going on in that dial. But it all somehow works really well together in my opinion. It’s also on the big side for my preferences, but the relatively small lug-to-lug makes it quite easily wearable. So far I like it!

I saw the youtube vid when Marc first showed them I thought they were very nicely done even if this style of watch isnt exactly my cup of tea. I am glad you like yours and was glad to get a look at it 👍
That looks really cool. Abalone can be extremely attractive.
I just got mine today and didn’t realize you posted yours yesterday. I checked Long Island’s store and the Abalone is sold out. I‘m glad we were able to secure ours…as holding the watch literally sucked the air out of my lungs after I opened the blue and white box and pulled the watch from its pillow.

It is impressive to see in person. The orange, black, and iridescent abalone go surprisingly well together.
I love this brand , not sure I could rock this watch as it is a touch big for me and the asthetic is a little showy too. But it really growing on me.
I'm patiently awaiting a delivery from Mark , I picked up on of the SKX inspired divers he has but with the Ameriquartz movement in ( what is fast becoming a trademark of mine 🤷,,) black dial white markers. It will be a great everyday grab a go goes with anything do it all watch.I expect it to get alot of wrist time.

Aside from lug to lug, aren’t the Ameriquartz divers even bigger than the Monsters? I’m hoping Marc releases some smaller Ameriquartz divers at some point.

Lug to lug is 46mm I think and it's a 42mm so on the large size for me but just about in tolerance I think. But yeah some smaller options would be great.
