New GMT Options?

Some upcoming international travel plans have presented an opportunity to justify a new watch. With less expensive GMT movements hitting the market, what are your best recommendations? Anything that has been announced that may not be commonly known yet, but should become available this year?

A few preferences:

Approximately 38-40mm (give or take, but nothing too bulky). Not too dressy, flashy, or expensive looking. Traveler or caller is fine. Preferably automatic. Low price is good, but up to around $2,000 could work.

I'm very tempted by the Christopher Ward C63 Sealander GMT.

I already have a Steinhart 39mm GMT and a Seiko 5 GMT on the way.

Vaer has a new GMT based on the Miyota 9075 coming out this spring I believe.

CW also has a new GMT out, the C65 Dune GMT.

I have heard that Hodinkee/Mido gmt is really nice.

Check out the post from earlier by the guy who created Gavox. They have one which caught my eye called the Longitude.

To be honest, since you found that C63 Sealander, you don't need to continue looking.

I bought this one in my final days of heavy travel and it worked out well.  There are many styles to choose from with the same movement.  I ended up buying a few of them.

The new Traska Venturer GMT looks interesting.  It also has the new Miyota 9075.  I think it is available in the next few days.

I second that. This review also looks promising: https://youtu.be/ZVUP35iNGpQ

I like the look of the watch. I wish the brand name was something else. “Traska” doesn’t sound right to me.

I have the C63 Sealander GMT in the black colorway. The watch is even better in person due to the light-catcher case and overall wearability.

Thanks for the suggestions. I’ll check some of these out and continue to stay on the lookout for new announcements.

I got an Oak & Oscar Humboldt GMT this past December. It’s pretty amazing and I recommend it often.
