AQUASCAPHE CLASSIC
I'm thinking about buying this watch. Will any of you owners weigh in with an opinion on it?

It’s a great watch with the perfect size!
I love my Aquascaphe. I have the blue gilt version. I actually had a small issue from factory with a factory defect in the bezel. It was super easy dealing with them and they immediately sent me a shipping label and I had a brand new watch sent to me within a week. Otherwise I love the watch. Only thing I like to mention the the crystal. It’s so large and beautiful and has great distortion. It actually creates an optical illusion, similar to when you put a straw into a glass. I thought the bezel was misaligned but after getting a straight-edge out, I found it wasn’t. Simply appeared because of the distortion.
Great choice for most wrist sizes (unless you are larger than 7.5 inch wrist).
I don't own it but people love their Baltics. I've heard good things.

I'm really torn between the blue gilt and black silver model. I'm a sucker for black dials, though. It's really good to hear that Baltic was so responsive to your bezel issue. That eases my mind. Thanks for your response, I appreciate it!
I bought it two weeks ago and I think it's great. I got the white on black face and I am very happy I got that rather than the off-white hands and hour markers. I ordered it with the Beads of Rice bracelet, which is very nice but I think it draws attention away from the watch a bit so I got a black leather strap with white accent threads. The leather strap is a winner because it doesn't fight with the watch for your eye. The crystal is a great feature how it adds some nice distortion. The black face isn't completely flat black as there is little grainy color on it that's nice. The bezel has a smooth feel of quality.

Thanks for the comment! I want the model you got with the white on black. I think it's the cleanest of the models available. I just received the Baltic MR01 on the BOR bracelet. I like it very much, it looks very nice on a black shell cordovan strap, too. Baltic support told me the BOR bracelet will fit the Aquascaphe, so I'll order it with TROPIC type strap.
