SOTC - My First State of the Collection
It feels like I've slowly started an actual collection here! This is my first SOTC, and I can't wait to see how my collection grows and changes over the years to come. Starting in the bottom right and going clockwise:
Orient Bambino Gen2 Ver2 (All Rose): The first real watch purchase in the collection. Also the first mod. Already a stunning watch, the full rose gold case adds a touch more sophistication. Can't wait to wear this with my tux!
Victorinox Swiss Army Cavalry: The first (or maybe second) watch I've ever owned. A gift from my grandma that I recently rediscovered. This childhood adventure companion is probably the root of my love for wire lugs. Needs a new battery and some TLC and then just like it was given to me, I will be giving it to my son.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic: Currently rocking an Omega Seamaster homage (of my own making) and a Bond Nato from Crown & Buckle, because who doesn't love 007. I don't wear this too often, but it is a great device. The always on display shows up as the "lume" which is fun!
Fitbit Sense: Developing watch faces for this is what got me in to the hobby in the first place. Now that I have a few actual watches, this one usually just has my logo face loaded up. If you're interested in an homage watch face for a Fitbit, send me a message!
Casio A159WA: The essence of retro-cool and perfect for everyday wear. This has been my go to office watch for the last week. It's light, it's thin, and looks good in the office. I will always remember this as the watch that cemented my love for the hobby.
