Anybody know an alternative of the Breitling Datora for under $1000? I'm looking for a vintage inspired chronograph, preferably with a salmon or cream...

Clearly doesn't apply to the whole world. Where I'm from nobody would buy a used Pagani Design for "a dollar or two" less than the retail price.
I have nothing against Chinese watches. Heck I even have a San Martin Original on my list. I'm just saying, even IF what you say is true (it's not, in most countries used clomages are worth shit), buying a $9500 Omega does not mean "wasting $9500" as most of the value is retained.

I disagree that getting the Omega would be a waste of $9,500. Unlike Chinese clomages, most luxury watches have a resale value. At most, you'd be wasting 10-20%, so about $2500 max as depreciation. Much less (maybe $500-$700 if you buy used). Whereas Chinese clomages you'd be wasting 100% as they have zero resale value, might as well write them off. True, $2500 is a lot of money, but "wasting $9,500" is just not true statement.
So far I only found Blancpain and Longines that send catalogues to Southeast Asia. Both Bremont and Sinn redirected me to their digital brochures. Do you know which companies would send out catalogues internationally?
