Deep fried and crunchy 😅

Am a watch geek, not a collector. Have a small 6-pillow watch box- with 5 pieces from different countries; and an empty space waiting to be filled by a German watch I can’t decide on.

Maybe I’ll stop once I’ve found my German grail, or maybe the watch box will grow in size. Who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️

Take a look at ‚Sinn‘ if you want something german.

·

I’d also add Laco, I believe they are German too

·

Don’t get Laco or Sinn in my country… India. Do have Tutima and Nomos though… out of my price range right now 😀 hence grail

·

You’re going to need a bigger box 😂

·

Welcome, you will definitely need a bigger box if you spend time on WC, but enjoy the journey!

Very Interesting style of purchasing. Sharifa a picture of your collection with us when you can.

Thank you! Now have an Indian HMT, a Swiss Longines, a Japanese Seiko, a vintage American Hamilton, and a (Chinese) Casio 🤪. Figure for the sixth one, a German watch would do nicely. Though I don’t just want any German, so no Zeppelin, Laco, Wempe, Junghans etc. And don’t have the money for a Lange or Glashutte. I want this one still to be special, so waiting until I find the right watch, or until I have boatloads of money 😂

Have taken many photos of the box with my phone, none of them I like (probably bad light or some such). Will share one I am happy with, once I have taken it.

Welcome to the club,

What style of watch are you thinking of?

Pilot?

Dress? Etc….

Thank you so much!

Thinking of a diver or a gmt actually - something with a rotating bezel as that is what I don’t have. What I do have are three dressy pieces, a casual watch and a digital watch.

Not interested in the pilot style, I feel those are ‘too’ legible - if that is a thing

Lol

Welcome to WC! For a German diver, have you considered the Nomos Ahoi? Just released in two new dial colors, and unlike basically any other dive watch out there. Or on the other side of the Bauhaus-to-toolwatch spectrum, the Sinn U50.
