Welcome to Korea!
Hope you have a wonderful time here.
Fortunately(?) weather is much better than last week.
Pitzmann is a good one. You won't see them in shops though.
Valerarch recently had exhibition but does not own shop at the moment.
Minhoon Yoo is an amzaing independent watchmaker but does not have shop though you might want to see his works through instagram.
For general watch shops, you can visit Shinsaegae Department Store near by Namsam (if that is where you are staying). From all department stores, prices will be close to retail.
If you are staying near Namsan, visit Grand Hyatt Hotel for Oris Boutique.
For used watch market, Saewoon Square is one of the most famous. Their you can find used Patek, Rolex, and many luxury watches as well as few ADs including Nomos, Sinn, Oris, etc.
Korea is not a place with good histories in horology but in developing stage (I hope🤣)
Let me know where you located, I will let you know the closest shops:)
I have 35mm Gold plated PRX, Quartz.Bought before automatic version came out. It looks good, gold plate does not come off easily, maintains good time. I do not feel any poser with this one, since I got my real poser watch but, some people (not WC, not enthusiasts, people not into watches) asked me if that is a Rolex or any expensive watch. And because of that, my PRX becomes poser not because of what I think but the way surrounding people might say. Probably there will be different perception to watches in your country tho:)
