Seiko SPB125 Ninja Sumo

From my personal collection.

My wrist size is 16.5cm. Diameter of 44mm and 52mm lug to lug seems pretty big in the second picture but not in the first.

I wear watches of 34mm to 44mm depending on outfit and occasion. Diameter does not really bother me. Smaller watches have been om trend but my guess is time of over 40mm will come soon!

Size can be deceiving on paper and pictures. I believe our WC understand this fact! If you are new to watch world, go try them on, not only look on your wrist but alsp look yourself in mirror with the watch. It feels very different.

What is your thought on larger size watches like 42~44mm?

Have a good day WC👍

Sumo is a great casual watch for warm weather 👍

As a small-wristed guy who stylistically prefers smaller (“vintage”) sizing, I can’t say I have any love for 40mm+ watches. However, larger watches are definitely a look. There are many amazing watches on the larger end that I wish I could wear- and you’re totally right that they can be much more wearable than one might expect!

I guess it all depends on the watch case design. I wear watches from 36-45mm. My sweet spot though I believe is 39-40mm.
