Very cool - and one of the best TTs I have seen.

Being a little picky the crown probably tips it over the edge in terms of bling for me personally but heck it is very well done.

Smart move - I don’t usually warm to TTs but yours really looks great. I think it’s because the large expanse of black actually tones it down a notch. Certainly the nicest one I have seen.

With an SS crown I’d probably be looking.

I think this one but with the bracelet from yours would be perfect for me (I’m past peak GMT at this point but do like that yours has kept the timing bezel).

Definitely less blingg, more subtle. The movements in these are great too.

Mido have a really low profile here in the UK (I gather they are more prominent in South and Central America and certain Asian markets) so that makes them harder to find to handle but I do hear very good things about them. They are very much on my radar but just priced high enough that I would rather hold one than just roll the dice. One day. And it’s nice to have things in this hobby to aspire to … a v long list!

Love the GMT Ocean Star Danilo. #mido definitely flies under the radar, when you consider the brand's quality for price. It's almost like Mido is the middle child to Tissot and Longines.
