I've always liked those exploded views of items as wall art and this just takes it do an extra dimension.

Yeah, that's the tricky bit, I think.
Maybe they waited for it to semi-set and then put all the pieces in? IDK, just guessing.

Layers upon layers upon layers. Pour a layer with a piece, let it set, pour another layer and add some more parts, let set, repeat.

Maybe they don't let it dry fully and put the part in "while it's still wet" but I am just speculating.
