Amazing find! Seiko red alpinist SCV007.
So excited to receive this cream dial red alpinist today! It is in amazingly good condition and it even came with the original box and papers. Even the original receipt is included. In fact, it is in such good condition that I am almost afraid it is not original or has aftermarket parts. But it is such a beautiful watch. Smooth sweeping seconds hand from the high beat movement, and the size and dimensions are fantastic. I also bought a Sarb017 recently and really love it. But even just a few minutes with this one, and I think I like this red alpinist even more! The smaller size, thinner case, and smoother seconds hand makes a lot of difference. I paid a little more than I would have liked for it, but given the fantastic condition the watch is in, and how much I like it, I think it's worth it. So happy with this find!

Here's an old pic of mine, which is not all original since the seconds hand is from a SARB017. Unfortunately the watchmaker broke the original when I had it serviced a while back, but at least all 3 hands are gold tone now!

Been looking and wanting to buy this watch for a while. Tried and failed a couple of times. But this popped up on ebay in such good condition that I knew I just had to bite the bullet and get it.

Despite my dislike of the rotating compass rehaut, I can't but respect this OG piece. Yes, there was the Laurel, but this captured a design language like no other.
