G-Shock DW-5500BB
Well, after a long search, I finally got the “squarest” square G-Shock. Straight from Japan.
Love the squarish retro design. Would love to have the DW-5500-1 next time.

This is the first time I've ever seen it, the squarest G indeed.
Was the 5500C released before the 9000? I don't have a good reference for a timeline that includes these two models.
One of my first G's was a 9000-8 the white model. It's currently in a box, but If I get time later I'll shoot a pic. (maybe I can find a pic from back in the day, if so I'll update the post)
