So… I bought a vintage G-Shock

At long last, I finally got my 1st G-Shock back in 1994. The DW-5600C-1V. Japan H 901 module. Arrived today and fresh out of the box.

Apparently, it's the same watch that Keanu Reeves wore in the movie Speed. Am very happy to get this back onto my wrist and its bringing back many many memories.

This will not leave my collection, ever. LOL. Will pass it down.

P.S: Also arrived today is my new GW-M5610U (WRUW section) as well. It's a double celebration.

Did you notice in Speed when there was a close up shot of the watch, it was in Alarm mode…!

Yup I did definitely. Lol. It was a movie prop “blunder”. Wish they have set it to the actual time but it’s a great movie!
