Great points, maybe we should do a doorframe test… standard steel vs [insert proprietary steel]…
What intrigued me most is the hardness ratings compared to standard, less scratches and dents (on paper)…
Let’s see if the theory holds up, I would put money on these becoming more common throughout all their references over the next couple of years.
Mmm I always hate to be “that guy” but it’s potentially a no from me. Have you tried a more ‘dressy’ strap out of curiosity? There’s just something about that top stitching at the lugs that is too vintage-esk for the watch… [personal opinion only]
Good review, do you happen to know the lug to lug on this? I could open a new tab and search myself.... but another tab and my PC will probably die!
When I tried a 40mm YM on at my AD whilst we were chatting about other topics, it's was nice, yes... but I didn't feel the need to jump on the list and buy one. It's OK, but for me the grey dial is just not me.
So apparently @celinesimon you’re the industry guru.
Can you please download your brain into a .zip for us?
Go to a Porsche dealer and let us know the outcome. You’ll quickly find that dealers want near 40k over list for hot models and to purchase accessories through them… it’s not limited to watches sorry. Join any luxury car forum and it’s all very similar stories just with variance in the premium.
Look into safes, and safe installers. You’ll quickly find most safes that are decent (not a hotel room safe) can be bolted in from the rear AND the bottom from the inside. This means that a thief can’t just pull it out, and can’t can’t pull it up, the force required is immense so good luck to them when one side is bolted into brick or concrete.
Definitely look into a safe, plus… you can stick passports and what else in there, which also makes sense… they are sensitive documents.
