Wow! I'm here for a while and didn't introduce myself yet!!

Seeing Fred's post (@fdgwatch) just now, I realized that I've been here for almost a year and I haven't properly introduced myself. Shame on me!

My name is Diniz. I live in Brazil and work in the field of mainframe computing for over ten years.

I started venturing into the world of watches about two years ago during the period of quarantine at home and I haven't stopped since. (someone warned about addiction but I didn't pay attention at the time) 😀

I started by buying a Starking with a Myiota movement and watching maintenance videos. So I became even more interested in watchmaking. Today I have more than 15 affordable watches and I also do cleaning, preventive maintenance and small repairs (mainly on workmates' watches).

My instagram has some pictures of watches I bought and also watches I fixed. (but I don't tend to keep much up to date - so there are a few watches missing).
