Who's gonna buy the new YEMA Wristmaster Traveller MICRO-ROTOR

Ok it will be live on kickstarter very soon. Who's gonna buy one?

I even didn't check any spec yet but really loved how it looks. And for me it is less than 10mm and 100m WR :) they already got me :)

No, there's a couple of things I have a problem with. Firstly, I'm not keen on integrated bracelets. I prefer to be able to switch to different straps when the weather changes. Secondly, I've heard that Yema are not very good at customer service. So until this improves, I'm staying well away from them.

Caveat emptor.

Caveat emptor.

The few folks that I know that personally owned one regretted it.

Not a bad looking watch but I think the integrated bracelet designs are getting tiresome at this point. Also the price is way expensive. Better options at that price point.

·

Not I.

I don't have any issues with Yema the brand as I own a number of modern and vintage Yema watches. I have not had any issues with my Yemas nor have I had anything but excellent customer service from them.

This design just doesn't do anything for me. I am absolutely consistent on this - no interest in Omega Seamaster with the wave dial, no interest in Patek Nautilus with the horizontal lines on the dial, no interest in the recent Formex Essence with its horizontal line pattern dials, etc.

This dial just leaves me cold. Would much rather have the Baltic MR01 - which is why I pre-ordered one of those.

They lost me at Wristmaster...

Thanks for introducing me to this piece, I hadn't heard about it. That movement they built is pretty cool! I definitely think it's an interesting piece.

·

I've heard too many bad stories about Yema QC and customer service to be interested.

·

I was at first interested until I found out that the Kickstarter price was almost 2k, if it was priced around the 1k mark I would have considered it. Not saying it is not worth it being an in-house movement with a micro-rotor and a nice looking watch but at that price, it competes against watches I am more interested in like a Longines Spirit that has a beautiful dial and a regulated ETA cosc movement.

I own a Yema GMT bronze Superman I purchased it in a Kickstarter campaign and I love the watch at the price I paid. I have had absolutely no problems with the watch and I still enjoy it since I received it a couple of years ago.I read horror stories about Yema but I was one of the fortunate ones that received a watch without any problems, I guess it is hit or miss. Now the problem I have with this offering is the price at nearly 2k for that price I would rather purchase a Longines Spirit

I am fascinated by the brand, but all I know haven’t had great experiences. I am glad to hear the opposite.

No to any KS.

Based on multiple reports of bad CS, no to Yema in general.
Way overpriced.

HARD PASS

Wow thanks a lot everyone, i was thinking to dive in to the campaign, but currently i'll stop related with those horror stories! Thanks again

I have 3 watches by Yema and I'm not going to buy this one precisely because I don't like how it looks.

BTW, I'm probably one of the few who can tell their personal experience about their after sales service and it was fine. My watch was broken due to a fall and it was sent to France and returned within repaired and regulated within 3 weeks. Other brands takes twice as long to issue a repair quote.
