Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean

Wearing this lovely watch today. I like the look but it seems to me that it's a little too bling blind to be a serious dive watch. Probably why I bought it. I don't dive, I just like the watch.

Because I have a 7 1/2 inch wrist, divers are mostly what I gravitate towards.

Does anyone else have this exact watch same specs and colour?

It ticked quite a few boxes for me.

Shiny and wearable in most situations including fancy restaurants.

Massive water resistance.

Open caseback. I love seeing the movement.

Comfortable rubber strap and the colour.

I've gone even further. But who cares. Enjoy it. It's a beautiful piece. I've been eying the new Ultra Deep or even the Ploproft.

Not trying to flex on you. I hope you didn't get that impression. I liked my James Cameron. Wore it a few times but, due to my financial situation I was scared of banging it into something. I had prematurely thrust myself into the "luxury" watch market without being used to having nice things. Clean swap for a chocolate dial two tone Datejust, thought it might be more "wearable", get on the hype train and traded in the DJ for my Pepsi with cash. The Pepsi sees sunlight probably twice a year? Rarely.

It's strange how life shapes your perception of value. In reality we only need Food, water, shelter, community, love and purpose.

Not at all. I'm not the type that ever thinks that. It is quite large. I do love the Pepsi.

Good on you mate. I worry sometimes how a post comes across. Got a little philosophical on you there...

I’ve looked at this watch many times, I like it a lot…it’s currently on my short list!

It's chunky but I like the look, colours and design.
