Sorry no strap recommendation here, but I'd disagree, I think the 22mm lugs give it a sense of gravitas. I think they look perfect:

I was just talking to @MinuteMon about it this morning. We think the leather Zero-Pass will be the ticket due to the thickness of the watch and way the lugs are layed out. Derek will post pics when he gets them 😁

I have an Orient Ray II, and the 22mm lug width is my only gripe. 22mm straps just feel like a cuff, no elegance or sophistication to them. With that in mind, maybe try a @nickmankeydesigns on it? I have one, and it's super comfy.

I know what you mean! I imagine anything would look killer on a GS 😍 Hard to beat the comfort of elastic, though!

I'm sure there has to be some decent leather straps that taper as well.

Ton of 22 mm strap options, more than 19 mm, which is the lug width of a lot of GS watches.
Leather, Epsom leather, sailcloth, FKM in any color would go great with that white birch dial.
My plain looking silver dial Carrera goes with anything.
Everest universal black strap would be a good companion.
A Bas & Lokes leather NATO would be pretty killer.
If you into military, NDC or Erika would fit perfectly 💪
