Holy cow! ย I can believe it though, German watches are exploding in popularity, and it seems like many industries are still experiencing shipping and supply disruptions. Maybe newer Sinn models have this wait time, and more established models are shorter wait time? ย Just a guess thoughโ€”I donโ€™t know a lot about Sinn.

ย
If you can tolerate it, I might consider grey market if you want to buy new, but I understand why that might not be an option for you. After a certain pricepoint, I only buy from the company or ADs. ย It seems like Jomashop gets the best overall feedback, but Watchmaxx is up there as well. Sometimes wait times can be crazy long too on these sites, I just make sure that they have the watch in stock before buying, and that they donโ€™t have to source it. Sourcing can take just as long as your wait list in some instances.

Yeah! Beware of the โ€œanticipatedโ€ ship times given by Jomashop. ย If they donโ€™t have it, skip it. You could wait foreverย

Hi guys, my 1st post here. I read elsewhere Sinn was sourcing some raw materials, steel perhaps, from Ukrane and that is now causing further delays.ย

A mate of mine is the Sinn distributor in Australia, in short, all the mid tier germans (sinn, muhle glashutte, tutima - you'll note they routinely use the same retailers too etc) control their production, inventory and distribution very very tightly. ย There is little to no overstock, virtually zero leakage to the grey market and limited to no discounts. ย This means they also run into these supply issues a bit.

If you are having troubles sourcing one drop fabio a line at timeonly.com, he may be able to help but the watch will get some frequent flyer miles.

Where are you located? I got my Sinn 104 from Watchbuys here in the US and had it in a week. Granted that was a few months ago and I didnโ€™t look at their current situation, but maybe try them?ย
