Oh…no(?)

OK, Erebus and Draken need to stop launching new watches at the same time or this is going to be bad for me! I already ordered the white dial Peregrin...

Becoming One

Has Tudor created the ultimate Sub homage? As Danny Milton from Hodinkee put it, “what happens when we reach the singularity here?”.

Eclipse day!

Yes yes, get over it you say. But for those not already over the hype, where are you watching and what are you wearing? Me? Burlington VT. This. 😎

Doesn’t do it for me. Nothing wrong at all with the watch but it’s not my style. If it had been more along the lines of an Explorer, Smiths Everest or Tudor Ranger than I’d be more interested. They just comped it against the wrong flock of sport watches for my taste. Can’t like them all, right? Bring on the Erebus chronograph!

Well, as it turns out the Ascent from Erebus doesn’t do it for me. Nothing wrong at all with the watch but it’s not my style. I agree. Specs and quality are in alignment AND you can actually buy it (for way less). What isn’t to like?

I’ve seen one of these in person and it’s a very pretty thing…but also completely unintelligible to anyone without a master mariners license. I can’t imagine they sold many year over year.

Tudor had been killing it and this keeps the party rolling. That monochromatic BB51 is awesome.

Holy cow balls was that amazing!! Hope everyone else had good visibility. The 11 hours in the car round trip wasn’t so great

I have a Pluto and a Moon, and I just picked up a Scuba. Replacing the OEM strap is key for both, which is harder on the Scuba than it should be. I still need to get a rubber strap for mine. I do wear them all, though I am dubious of the Scubas water resistance so probably won’t take it swimming.

Saw this as part of the “set dressing” in Disney’s Animal Kingdom “Africa” area. Random, but had to share.

Anyone else order one?

Very exited to get mine! Something very special about getting a first run piece from a new brand. Who else decided to go in on one?
