Which watch would you buy that’s under $50

It would seem that for the $50 dollar range in watches, you have about 4 choices.

Timex

Casio

Invicta

Off brands

When talking with most people, it would seem Casio is the watch most head too, then Timex. Watch collectors know of Invicta but I find the average person that doesn’t buy Casio or Timex end up buying a Chinese fashion brand. I know my first under $50 watch was a Casio. What was yours?

Got them!

You can find a DW5600E-1V for $50 all day. I know not everyone likes g shocks, but that's what I'd choose. From the four you listed, I'd go with the weekender.

·

I'd be looking towards Lorus for that price range. Not so many years ago it would have always been Citizen, but l think they start around double the price these days.

My first has been lost to the mists of time long gone.

My first after getting back into watches was a G-Shock.

+1 G Shock

I'd rake the Casio AE-1200 or a Duro

At that price I’m humbled and grateful to be able to grab them all! So that would be my first vote. Now to stick to the program I would say the Invicta takes the overal cake in my eyes. Although I would probably save a little more and get the Auto. Damn this was harder then I expected 😅

Mine was a Timex Weekender ($35.00) about 8-9 years ago.

Not bad at all. It been in pools, lakes, the ocean. It's been covered in dirt, fish guts, mud... & keeps ticking.

I like the Timex Expedition, with the resin aka plastic case. Light, durable and waterproof, plus it has indiglo so you can read it at night. About $39 the last time I bought some.
