This is a comprehensive list of all automatic Chronographs under 10mm for less than $5k.
If you are open to manual wind it is a different story, but for that level of engineering one has to pay the toll. Even over $5K they are like unicorn blood.
I know of one watch satisfying those criteria. I don't know how much it costs but certainly over 5000 Euros, Dollars or Pounds. That's some esoteric stuff there going on with a peripheral rotor to make it work.
The thinnest reasonably priced chronographs are probably Blancpains Frederic Piguet 1185 equipped chronographs. But those are around 12mm. That said, they come reasonably close to your 5k target if you aren't too picky...
I have a 14mm thick triple calendar moonphase chronograph and I've never been bothered by the thickness. And I usually wear vintage 34mm dress watches I'm the 5-7mm range.
Probably because the chrono has some very clever curved undercutting of the case back to disguise the other day thickness.
Other than the Bulgari Octo already mentioned, I can't think of anything under 10mm. I have several chronographs in my collection, and the thinnest is my Girard Perregaux Richeville 2750, which comes in at 11.2mm thick.

Plus it's only 37mm which reduces overall bulk.
Thank you, your comment gives me a better idea of the dimensions.

I guess this would be a good challenge for @ChristopherWard to make the imposible, posible…

I don't think there are any chronographs under 10mm let alone for that price.

Bro... 10mm?! Automatic 😅

That's going to be very tricky.

This one is titanium, sapphire and only 9mm thick. For 5 grand you could buy 31 of them and wear a different one on each day of the month.
Fully automatic digital chronograph and countdown timer powered by sunlight and regulated by an automatic quartz crystal.

That’s a beautiful GP.

I think 12mm is a much more realistic target 😉 but who knows.
