Wondering if I should pull the trigger on this one

Hi peoples,

First post, I'm new to the community - glad to find this app as it adds yet another way to waste time looking at watches, because of course I definitely needed another way (he says watching YouTube watch content as he speaks).

Thinking about pulling the trigger on this Boldr singularity, mostly coz it looks cool, it's affordable, I like the concept, and it'll probably stand out in a collection (currently a collection of 2) wherever that goes in time.

My question is kinda around the build quality and the movement.

Any thoughts or experiences of Boldr anyone?

And the NH35A?

All responses welcome.

Thanks all

NH35 is the standard in most affordable automatic watches. Robust and reliable. However pretty unremarkable. While that style of watch does not appeal to me there must me something about it you love. So on paper you’re good. When it’s on wrist that’s when you’ll really know.

It's a cool watch using a an interesting paint! The movement is a pretty basic seiko movement used in a lot of microbrands, nothing special but an automatic which is nice. PVD coating is personal preference and I feel like it doesn't really add anything to the actual quality of the case, but it looks cool. In my opinion, it is the use of a that hyper black paint that makes it unique.

I'm into it for sure, probably won't pull the trigger but I love the dial

I picked up a Boldr Venture Earth about 2 years ago (Boldr had them on sale for $269). I like it a lot and have not any any problems (full disclosure I rotate through many watches so I've probably not worn it more than 50 days). Build quality appears good to me and I like the style.

I had a good experience with Boldr when I purchased this watch! Its not readily available in the US, but they helped me out. I didn’t keep it long it was a bit too heavy on the wrist for me. Build quality seemed good. I’d buy another Boldr.

I used to have 2 Boldr watches. A Venture Black Dawn and Expedition II Matterhorn. Both are great watches and i just fell out of love with them so i sold them. Personally I'm not a fan of no indices but if you like it you should definitely pull the trigger. You won't regret it.

I did have trouble with my Expedition and the crown being difficult to wind. I live in the US but bought it from an AD in England so I was worried about figuring out shipping. I contacted them to ask if they could give me info on new gaskets (my local watchshop said they would replace the gaskets if they work on it). Instead they gave me the info of an authorized warranty place in the US. I paid to ship it there (Maryland) and they fixed it at no charge. I was told the winding stem was cut too short causing it to get stuck and the rotor to helicopter. It worked great after that. Sorry that was longwinded but it was a great experience. They always reply within a day and the owner is active on Facebook, as well.

So I picked it up.

Couldn't be happier.

Had it for a few weeks now and think the size (38mm) is probably one of the best things about it.

Looks nice on the wrist and I love the orange touches.

Thanks for the input peoples.

And well done Boldr.
