Looking for Suggestions

Greetings! This is my current lineup. I really enjoy collecting watches with “American” heritage/design. I’m looking for a couple more watches to balance out my collection. Maybe something with a pop of color? Any suggestions?

I don’t know what price range you’re looking for. I’d suggest Ball watches, and RGM.

I second #rgm. Nice guy out of Lancaster, PA. Really nice watches but on the pricier side of collecting. I'll probably get the Corps of Engineers eventually.

Weiss, Monta, Lorier, Nodus, Jack Mason, Stella, and Oak And Oscar are a few that come to mind that are based out the US.

Don't forget Waltham and IWC...

Waltham was based in Massachusetts and at one time was the number one watch company in the USA.

Waltham has now been revived with some really nice pieces coming out...

Here are a couple I picked up...

And there are some nice vintage Walthams still around...

And don't forget, IWC started as an American watch company. Aristo Jones was an American who set up shop in Switzerland for cheap labor to produce watches to send back to the USA. Labor in Switzerland at that time was a fraction of the cost of labor in the USA. Imagine that now 😀

Grand Seiko Urban Bamboo or Sinn 556 in color?

Glad to hear about #waltham! I'll have to check them out.

I love the dial! Chronographs are my favorite and this clearly has an homage to racing. Super slick!

Super hard to imagine Swiss labor being cheaper lol

I’ve never looked into Waltham but I really like that yellow dial with the railroad style numbers.

I took a look and they indeed have some beautiful watches. Great suggestion. They even make an in house American tourbuillion. That’s incredible (and WAY out of my range) lol

Great watches...love all the extras that come with them...

I see you are seeking the Accutron SpaceView 2020...definitely worth the pursuit...I put mine on an OEM green alligator strap...

Image

I think it makes the dial pop more than the original black strap with green stitching...
