The last of the low-budget watchtubers?

I have no idea where WesWatches came from. He seems to have the same accent as ShinyThings below, but I think both of them live in the UK. Are they brothers or do they just play them on television like Simon and Simon?

Anyway, I hope they see this and both join WatchCrunch because we're drowning in watches that cost as much as a house nowadays, and someone needs to redress the balance.

WesWatches and ShinyThings. Both worth a "worch", you get me? 😜

There doesn't seem to be many anymore. John's Watch Joint is another budget watch review channel on YouTube.

Even FunWithWatches owns a $5000 Tag Heuer and some other expensive "luxury" things including San Martins, so he's out of the loop (or loupe) now too.

He had me worried when he bought a secondhand PRX, but fortunately, he's settled down to Casio and Ali again.

I Like Watches is all about the budget end of the spectrum.

Sometimes. He's not bad though.

I really enjoyed Cheap Watch Man for a while but I think he won the lottery or got some inheritance or something because at a certain point his videos kept being like, "I was at the AD picking up my Sea Dweller but I just HAD to grab these four Seamasters...." sort of alienating!

Yeah, I saw that and felt alienated too. He went from praising Invicta Pro Divers to buying a Sea Dweller while wearing his Vans overnight with no explanation.

I have noticed that a lot of reviewers start off with affordable but then get increasingly higher end as they go (and their YouTube profile goes up). There are exceptions of course but my favorite is BensWatchClub. I hope that more affordable watches are reviewed and thanks for these new ones.

It's all about affiliations. The more expensive the watch, the bigger the percentage of affiliate money. Then they get sponsors and it's game over for the plebs who used to watch them.
