I think there is zero chance I would buy anything that would put money in Thorpe's pocket.
I'm a little confused why the watch has two methods of tracking elapsed time. Do many people watch horse racing while on a deep sea dive?

I constantly saw him as a fake. One of the things that signaled how false he was is when one day he would talk about how bad flippers were for the hobby, and how people shouldn't do it...then the next day when asked a question decides to recommends a guy buys a watch, then flip it right away, then get this other watch. After that, as his watch youtube channel progressed, it was easy to see about how he just craved sympathy and just reveled in being called (for awhile at least) like the grandfather of the hobby.
The kind old gentleman routine all rang false and then he showed his true colors when he started his new gig. He's not a journalist, he's a person who works to try and keep himself relevant by being a FAR-RIGHT, hate promoting, political commentator.
