It seemed like a nice day
The weather has improved. 61 degrees F, mostly sunny, but a bit windy. At least it's stopped raining for a few minutes.
I took my new favourite watch (the one I bought from Ben) outside for a few pics. Because that's what normal, rational human beings do, isn't it? Well, it's what WE do anyway. Wait, let me rephrase that, it's what I do anyway.
First I had to do the obligatory "brick wall" shot to make my Swatch look all industrial or something. Oh dear, there are a lot of scratches on that crystal now. Do I care? Not really. It's only a Swatch. Is any Swatch without scratches on the crystal even a real Swatch? I think not.
Then I had to take a picture with the gravel drive in the background so you all think I'm on Brighton beach or enjoying some other seaside place. Maybe I am, maybe I'm not. Only I know for sure. 😉
Using the fence as a background makes it all rustic, doesn't it? It's like I'm in the countryside and some kind of farmer. "I am a cider drinker... ooh arr!" Yeah, that's more than enough of that.
I'm definitely not in Florida, but you'd never know, would you? That pink plastic flamingo could be a real pink plastic flamingo. The camera never lies!
And here I am with my friend Pingu. He didn't always look like this. When he first arrived here nearly 50 years ago, he was painted very realistically. But one day as a child, my friends (when I still had some) and I threw stones at him for fun and ruined him. Last year, I repainted him badly, and now he looks like a cartoon character. But then again, some would say that so do I, so it's fair enough.
I think the best of a bad lot was the gravel picture.

Outdoor shots! I'm too risk adverse for that type of extreme activity. I did take a wrist shot with the kitchen door open once. Looks like your risky behaviour has paid off however. Very nice wildlife photography 👍
