I managed to avoid ALL of your hype watch list. It is not because I am a connoisseur of originality and oblivious to trends, but rather I cannot afford half of them and the other half either passed me by or made me cringe (with honourable exception to the largely illegible Casioak)

Hey, I'm thinking about naming my polo pony Sekonda. What do you think? I think it's a good name for a horse. I would never risk an actual Sekonda watch in some polo match. I just hand it to my squire or my vassal or whatever. There's this Chinese (?) company with a phony French name that makes a polo watch. It's this little square thing you can "reverse" around so the polo ball smacks the caseback instead of the dial. It's crazy expensive because it's a niche item, but there's no other choice if I want a Polo Beater Watch.

Your blue Steeldive is a beauty. I love a Tiffany-ish shade of blue. Not sure exactly what shade of blue yours is but it looks great. I'm guessing a fair price too.

Thanks, my wife bought me my steeldive "Tiffany" turtle at Xmas last year, it cost £109 I think but that was through steeldive uk I think you could get it cheaper direct at AliExpress…..🤔

I’ve also had the case, hands, movement and a "Tiffany" blue dial arrive to build my own diver around an yacht master style case I post pics when it’s finished👍🏻

That's wonderful she got it for you. Good treatment is what Marriage is all about. I think women are drawn even more to that Tiffany Blue color than we watch collectors seem to be, although I think it's dumb that Tiffany has been allowed to trademark that color. How do you trademark a color? That's ridiculous. It's like being allowed to trademark the word "the". But now watch manufacturers are coming up with all kinds of not-quite-Tiffany shades, some of which I like better than the "real thing".
