Do I need a green wristwatch?

The colors discussion convinced me to post, but also I have been thinking about picking up a steel braceleted green or blue rotating bezel chronograph maybe in the next month or two. Budget is low, but I'm also mostly interested in opinions on the general question. Do I need such a watch to reflect my (just guessing here) polite and playful personality and desire to dress up a little with a nice tool watch? Perhaps not. Should I get one outside of need? If either of these are yes, then why?

Do you wear much green? I want to say that if you have to ask, you don't love the color enough to warrant it. But one is great to have on St. Patrick's day and other occasional occasions.

Thank you for the reply. I wear olive green not infrequently, brighter greens not so much. But I also don't have any silvery clothes that I can think of right now, but I don't mind that color. I guess this isn't a fact based question, but I think I understand. Green is a color that may stand out in a bad way? Maybe blue is better?

I was not a fan of the green dial until I walked past the jewelry shop and saw it in person shining in the sun. I think a pop of colour on the wrist is great, I used to have a yellow dial, and loved wearing that in the sun. If you like it go for it.

The conventional wisdom is that blue is more practical. I had a green dial diver, and didn't have much problem. There were certainly a few thing that it rather clashed with, but is this really a problem for most here?

To me that looks like an ocean green and it's amazing

Do you wear a watch because it’s inherently beautiful or because it checks a box, matches your attire or presents an image?

Personally, I wear my green watches because they look amazing and I don’t concern myself with anything else.

All reasons. Thanks for the reply!
