Not sure what it is about chronographs but there’s something inherently retro and therefore romantic in this type of design, and this for me is very appealing.
This Seiko 1969 reissue Speedtimer ticks all the right boxes for me in terms of its simple styling (in particular its smaller size) but also because it blends it with the ‘modern’ - using solar quartz for accuracy and convenience.
It wears really well too and I’m sure it makes me as handsome as David Beckham - what more can you want?! 😜

What date? 😁 I know what you mean - I think my new prescription glasses will fix that (I hope).
Weight wise, I actually like simply because it’s a nice contrast to my titanium one and feels a little like my Grand Seiko so I like the weight by association.
