Christopher Ward acing their marketing

I received my first copy of Loupe, a free magazine from Christopher Ward, and I'm looking forward to reading it over lunch.

I think they are really nailing it right now, their watches, their prices and their marketing. Can't wait to become an owner and I can see myself owning more than one! 🇬🇧

Looks very interesting! How do you get the magazine? Is there a subscription?

You can sign up here at this link. I'm not sure if I will only get one copy or I keep getting them. It's a great read.

I also found out about The Alliance of British Watch and Clock Makers. This is also something you can join (£55 p.a.)

Waiting for my copy to arrive.

You're right, CW is on fire at the moment. Plenty of great pieces in their collection.

I was thinking the exact same thing, I’m waiting for my copy to come in as well. I have m deposit down for a Bel Canto (interesting to see that the link they sent no longer works and shows the black version as sold out and no option on the others). I love the moon glow and love the Colchester with the retractable crown…yes please.

Every issue of the Loupe is available for download from the CW Archive maintained by the CW Forum.

There is a ton of info in the archive and is worth a look.

I'm a big fan of CW. Really hard to find equivalent quality for the money. Mike France has publicly said if you can show him a better watch at a cheaper price he will give you the CW for free.

I currently own 5 - C63 Ukraine LE, C65 Super Compressor, C65 Trident GMT, C65 Dartmouth MK1 and a C60 Trident Ombré COSC LE. I have a 6th coming later this year with the 2023 CW Forum LE (I was lucky enough to be on the design team).

The word is definitely getting out!

Personal opinion, but these newsletters (especially printed zines) are so underrepresented, even in the watch collecting community. This issue of Loupe goes to great lengths to ink the rest of the page while leaving the white space as the lettering. Small details to many, but inconvenient and costly decisions for the designer!
