Houston, we have a problem
I had promised, before we move later this summer, to do a big final watch purchase from my "AD", a family owned local watch store. I've always enjoyed doing business with them and popping in to talk watches.
I had my eye on a few Bulovas, the Oceanographer, Mil-Ships, and the Lunar Pilot. They had already sold two of the 5,000, and this was their last, they thought.
I could have gone with other versions, but the meteorite dial really got me.

I’ve got the black one and very pleased with it. The meteorite is awesome enough to make me consider trading up though…

I just ordered my Lunar Pilot and should be arriving on the 16th. It's the "Dark Side of the Moon" edition with Black PVD coating on the casing. I couldn't afford the meteorite edition. DSM will have to do. Congrats brother! It's a beauty!
Looks great! I have the blue/white Lunar Pilot. I timed all of my 5 minute time-lapse pictures of the eclipse with mine. 😀
