I set time and date when I put a watch on. It’s never occurred to me to try and preempt it.

Pass down, yes. When they turn 18? No. When my son turns 18 I’ll be 56 with many years of happy watch wearing in front of me. He’ll probably get a nice piece then but the rest can wait until I’m too old to enjoy them myself!

BB pro is definitely too thick for my taste. If they can sort that out in a future iteration it’ll be a killer watch though. I’m not a massive fan of that particular GS or the SSK.

I’ve also got the off white V2 and it’s great. If I was starting again I’d buy the small seconds though.

I sold my Smiths Traveller because of the thickness. Beautiful watch but 38mm diameter with 15mm height really didn’t work for me. All the photos I have of it are completely straight on to the dial for that reason!
