New watch!

This Mido Ocean Star 200C checked all of my boxes for a weekday/weekend dive watch. Not too big, beautiful dial, ceramic bezel, Swiss movement, 80-hour power reserve, and a kick ass bracelet. I’m going to be wearing this one a lot!

This is one of my favorites watch dials! Very nice!

Congrats! 👏👏 Call me biased, but I think the Oceanstar range are some of the best sleeper spec monsters in the Swiss diver market; not to mention the beautiful looks! Wear it in good health, sir 🤝

Bingo!

Case diameter, 41? Mido has great watches, flies under the radar.

Mido has no presence at all in the UK which is a shame as I’m looking for a blue diver and particularly like the Oceanstar range. Yours looks stunning and I also particularly like the blue dial Oceanstar tribute.

I was not aware of the brand before seeing it on TeddyB. I looked past their watch for a long time before it grew on me and made its presence known. I’m really loving the blue…it takes on different shades from navy to bright blue depending on the lighting. 😁

42.5 is just perfect on my wrist. Not as big as my duro (44mm) and larger than my Vostok (39).

I was very tempted by the SEIKO SPB375 but realized in time it was just too bright and busy for me. Just a bit too flashy 😜
