Winding down 2022, a year when I bought a whole new collection after cleaning house the last two years (sold/gifted 102 watches in 2020-2022). Pandemic coping ballooned my numbers and I had to get them gone.
Have one more on the buy list for 2022, hopefully in December.
A CITIZEN NJ0150-81Z (yellow dial) ordered this month won't arrive until 2023 due to back orders but with the USD up, paid now for a great price new.
Has been a long while since I bought this many watches in just a few months. Has been great fun but I owe my watch fund about $700. Again, difficult to pass on a strong USD.
All these just arrived and waiting to be sized but have our grandsons in this weekend so will have to wait.

Merkur is my new favorite Chinese brand. The rose dial is all I had hoped it would be. Great vintage case style. Well finished. Comfy BOR. Props again to @AlbertaTime for the brand rec.
The Maratec is likely the single best spec'd Titanium watch on the market, for the money. Have waited over a year to snag one new and the upgrades make the $295 price seem like I stole it.
Lastly, the Second Hour Mandala MK2. Sweet, fancy Moses! Absolute dial perfection and the salmon colors I had been longing to acquire.
Am I happy? Oh, yes I am!

I'm impressed with Merkur, so far, too.
Their watches are inexpensive but creative, good fun in a collection, and (I think) good value for the dollar.

Happy with the Merkur. Bracelet is fairly flat BOR but seems will be comfortable. LOVE the case design. Nailed "vintage," and the rose dial is fantastic.
wouldn't hesitate to recommend the brand based on the two models I now own.
