Wow!  What chest is that???  It looks awesome!!!

Thanks man! It’s a tool chest I modified for my watches. I had straps, spring bars, etc strewn across my bedroom and my wife insisted I find somewhere to put all. For here benefit, I had claimed most the top of her dresser with my ”watch stuff”… happy wife happy life.

Thanks man, nothing too special - most are from cheapnatostraps 🙂 Anytime I get the impulse to buy a new watch, I stop and buy a new strap first, hoping it will scratch the itch… so I own way too many straps now 😂

Honestly the chest this started from was already great storage solution without me doing a thing… I just put in some new felt, splash of paint, and added the watch/strap racks.

That is awesome! Only thing you need is a few more watches to fill it up! 😜

What a treasure chest! I also want my watches to be stored or displayed but ever since my first collection set was stolen by a burglar, I've been keeping my watchbox somewhere hidden, with only a dummy box in display with my grab and go's. 

I totally understand that! Thankfully (or sadly, haha) my collection is pretty replaceable - no vintage or hard to obtain pieces - should I get really unlucky. That still won’t make me less sad about it… haha, but if I ever snag that no date sub I’ll start considering a safe deposit box and gladly welcome the problem 😂 

This is beyond cool. If I had space in my home for a dedicated watch box of that caliber, I would make one asap!

Thanks man! The box definitely is a beast - made for machinist tools, so the footprint is sized for a workshop for sure. 🙂
