Hello Watch Friends 🙏

This is my 40th birthday present from my wife, it's been going strong now for nearly 10 years, I know it's probably a marmite watch, it's big, heavy, chunky, the readability/eligibility is sometimes quite hard in darkness. BUT I LOVE IT, I was torn between this and a Dietrich watch, I went for the SEVENFRIDAY and I'm glad I did. ❤

  • SIZE:47 X 47.6MM

  • CASE: Stainless steel with PVD Gun metal and one sandblasted gold groove line

  • BEZEL: Sandblasted black PVD

  • CASEBACK: Gold colour stainless steel

  • ANIMATION RING: Sandblasted black PVD

  • GLASS: Specially hardened anti-reflective mineral glass

  • STRAP: Black calf skin leather with black stitching

  • WATER RESISTANCE: 3ATM - Splash/Rain resistant - No swimming - No diving

  • ENGINE: Automatic movement Miyota 82S7, 40H power reserve

With armoured walls and tightly fashioned door closures, the P2B/02 takes inspiration from bank vaults of the industrial revolution. The five layered interface is finished with matt and sandblasted treatment while the black and gun metal discs are highlighted by gold elements. The gold hour hand is filled with Super-Luminova®, the gun metal coloured minute hand and tip is an extension to the gun metal ring with centred inner ring. The box is stainless steel with PVD gun metal and one sandblasted gold groove line surrounded by a sandblasted black PVD animation ring.

I like it, its unusual for sure, but why not. I am not sure I can read the time (is it 9.02 pm?), but it's a statement piece for sure. I had never heard of Sevenfriday before, but I am watch ignorant. A watch with memories is worth 10 without any, so fair play to Mrs Ben.
