In anticipation of Speedy Tuesday - my first Omega🇨🇭and latest addition to the collection - Omega Speedmaster Sapphire Sandwich 3861🚀🪐 I have to say the movement and sapphire display case might be the best part. At 42mm it wears well and the finish is excellent. I can see why the Speedy has a cult following. It’s just the overall perfect everyday watch - not to flashy yet perfect for any occasion. I decided to add the OEM rubber strap with Omega deployant clasp and to be honest I think I prefer the look to the original metal bracelet😎 I’m probably in the minority group but not a huge fan of the tapering bracelet after coming from the Rolex Oyster bracelets. I wasn't looking to acquire this piece but it’s here now 🩶🖤 Getting used manually winding again but it’s silky smooth and just gives me another excuse to pick this piece up and admire the movement🇨🇭Welcome to your new home Speedy🏁

Also didn't bond with the bracelet and added the nylon strap. Super comfortable and prefer the look. Now want to also add the rubber!

Hi Mike, you won’t regret the rubber / it looks and feels great. The OEM rubber and deployant clasp from Omega is not cheap but I highly recommend both🖤
